Founded in 1997, CityGolf is a state-of-the-art indoor practice facility located in the heart of downtown Boston.
Fully staffed by PGA Professionals, we offer everything from leisurely practice swings and virtual reality course simulation to putting lessons on our 280 square foot green to thorough instruction and swing analysis designed to improve your golfing fundamentals.
Gary Parker: PGA Head Golf Professional, Managing Owner
A full-time teaching professional, Gary brings well over a decade of high volume lesson instruction and a Class "A" PGA Membership to CityGolf. Gary's formal training has included employment at Tom Kite's signature golf course at the Legend's Club of Tennessee and three years as a lead golf instructor at the Stow Acres Golf School. In the 1990's Gary taught over 6000 different golf students and is regarded as one of New England's finest instructors.
With a BBS in marketing from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) Gary's sales skills and marketing insights may be best described by a college professor/mentor: "Gary can sell igloos to Eskimos". From sales forecasting to marketing brochure design to presentation of this prospectus, Gary provides CityGolf the necessary sales and marketing support functions that are so vital in promoting the business and tracking cash trends.
Ben Derrick: Manager and Teaching Professional
Ben graduated from Plymouth State University in 2001 with a BA in Art and Design, and turned professional right after. He had a stint playing professionally for most of 2002, and became a teacher in the spring of 2003. He is known for working on the mental side of the game along with working with the student to find their individual swing. Finding the right balance of working on the technical aspects of the swing and combining it with on-course playabilty is a strong part of Ben's teaching style.
Having some professional playing experiance has enhanced Ben's thought process throughout playing rounds and teaching how to go about rounds of golf. His skills will be put to the test (again) in the spring, for his 3rd attempt at qualifying for US Open.

From the North: Take 93 South to the Haymarket Square exit. At the second set of lights take a left onto Tremont Street. Drive for approximately 4 blocks until you reach School Street. Take a left on School Street, and then your first right onto Province Street. Take Province Street until the end and you will reach Bromfield. We are number 38 Bromfield.
From the South: Take 93 North to the Chinatown/ South Station exit. At the lights take a left onto Kneeland Street, take a right onto Charles Street, a right onto Beacon Street. Beacon will become School Street. Once on School Street, take your first right onto Province Street. Take Province Street until the end and you will reach Bromfield. We are number 38 Bromfield.
From the West: Take the Mass Pike East to the end. Take the downtown Boston South Station exit. At the lights take a left onto Kneeland Street, take a right onto Charles Street, a right onto Beacon Street. Beacon will become School Street. Once on School Street, take your first right onto Province Street. Take Province Street until the end and you will reach Bromfield. We are number 38 Bromfield.
Public Transportation to CityGolf Boston:
Take the Green or Red line to the Park Street stop, upon exiting the station continue down Tremont Street towards the church and Suffolk Law School. Bromfield Street is the first street on your right. CityGolf Boston is located at #38 (approximately half a block up).
Take the Red or Orange line to the Downtown Crossing stop, upon exiting the station, head onto Washington Street. Continue on Washington Street, keeping Macy's on your right, until you see Bromfield Street. CityGolf Boston is located at #38 (approximately half a block up).
